The annual Great Taste Awards are, essentially, the foodie Oscars (albeit without the glamour and the politics). Every year, judges from the Guild of Fine Food choose the winners based on just one thing: how they taste. Involving a rigorous judging process, the competition saw local Food producers compete in months of blind taste-testing against thousands of other artisan producers from the UK and across the globe to claim this renowned accreditation.
Established in 1994, Great Taste is organised by the Guild of Fine Food and is the world’s largest, longest standing and most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and speciality food and drink producers.
