Sherry Wine BBQ Smoking Chips

Sherry is a fortified wine from white grapes, mainly Palomino grapes, grown near the town of Jerez de la frontera, Spain. The fortified wine is stored in oak barrels, a process by which the liquid left to age in oak changes the taste, colour and aroma. After preparation, the barrel is emptied so that the taste and smell of sherry remains trapped in the oak wood.

These barrels are turned into chips, which connects the strength and quality of the beverage with the high standard of the wood. These chips are the ideal complement for barbecues and gas ovens.

The Sherry Wine chips brings sweet flavours and spices, and is a perfect addition to enhance the flavour of food.

How to Use:

Before cooking, soak your wood chips in water for about 30-60 minutes.

Charcoal Barbecues: Add a handful of pre-soaked chips onto your hot charcoal, spread it around to get an even smoke. The more chips – the more smoke!

Gas Barbecues: Follow your gas barbecue instructions.
